Childhood Map, 04:40min, three channel video, 2012
Dressed in the traditional Paraguay cloths, I dance to my father's song "Malagueña" (he was the lead singer of "Los tres Brillantes Paraguayos") , on the outline of Israel, where we lived. The spinning videos are pictures of my twin brother and I with our dad, before the age of 7 (when he left).
I planned to go to Paraguay the following summer to remake this video, with him singing live, after all those years I haven't seen him. Unfortunately, I won't be able to, as he passed away few months later (If only I knew he was dieng..).
Dedicated to the memory of my father, Julio Delgado Rojas, who died on September 22nd, 2012. R.I.P dad!
